Units
purchased prior to April, 1996
All BioPhotonics
systems prior to April, 1996 have a square base, a wood top, and a keyboard
attached to the front on a sloping sheet of metal with sides.
- Units
purchased in 1994 or 1995 have either a VGA monitor or an analog monitor.
The VGA units require VGAOS25; The analog units require AVOS25.
- Units
purchased prior to 1994 require OS221. The boot disks will self-install
when the system is rebooted.
Creating
a DOS Bootable Floppy
The RAWWRITE
programs allow you to create a bootable floppy disk.
- RAWWRITEWIN.EXE
is for Windows 95 and 98;
- RAWWRITENT.EXE
is for Windows NT, 2000, and ME.
- Download
the appropriate version and Operating System file to your PC.
- Insert
a new, error free floppy in the drive. NOTE: The Operating System
image files require the entire diskette.
- Open a
Command Prompt window, and give the command:
RAWWRXX.EXE OSFILE a:
where RAWWRXX is either RAWWRITEWIN or RAWWRITENT,
and OSFILE is the name of the Operating System image file.
