FTP Instructions

Use the Bio Image ftp site to download software and to upload images.

Download Instructions

  1. To download new software versions, bring up the Bio Image Systems ftp site in your Browser, then go to File —› Login As. Both the login and password are data1 (the word "data" followed by the number one). Click here to bring up the Bio Image ftp site.

  2. Navigate to the download folder.

  3. Navigate to the appropriate folder for the software that you are interested in. The folders and their contents are:

    • pc: Bio Image AQ version 4.2, IQ version 3.2, and BQ version 3.2 software, data sheets, and Genomic Solutions versions of AQ, IQ, and TWAIN software.

    • misc: Special customer-specific software.

    • 2000i: BioPhotonics and Genomic Solutions 2000i Gel Documentation systems replacement operating systems. Click here for details about the software choices and installation instructions.

  4. Download the software. Older versions of software may require a license. If so, please email info@bioimage.net when you have installed the software and have the Computer ID and Entry Code.

Upload Instructions

  1. To upload images, bring up the Bio Image Systems ftp site in your Browser, then go to File —› Login As. Both the login and password are data1 (the word "data" followed by the number one). Click here to bring up the Bio Image ftp site.

  2. Navigate to the upload folder. You cannot send images or projects to any other folder. For data confidentiality, you cannot see the contents of this folder.

  3. Please email info@bioimage.net after you upload any files.
